Three ways into the desert.
At Saturday’s meet and greet, Wonderhussy Adventures, Tecopa Mines, and Wandering Jeepsy bring three complementary ways of seeing the Mojave. Wonderhussy explores remote desert weirdness and local history; Tecopa Mines brings the lore of the region’s mine workings; and Wandering Jeepsy shares off-grid travel, overland adventure, and life on the road.

Sunday / Guided field trips
The road becomes the program.
Sunday’s field trips with Ted Faye and others turn the festival into a moving field guide. The route may lead from the sculpted walls of Cathedral Canyon to the old workings around Tecopa Mines, the storied stage of the Amargosa Opera House, and the palms and dates of China Ranch.
